Sometimes life may feel shaky, and doubt, fear, or uncertainty can cause you to feel lost or disoriented. You’re not sure what you want, you’re not sure where to go, so you try to be careful and not make any move at all. This fear and playing it safe can paralyze you and lead to stagnation, depression or both. Instead of focusing on the unknown, or the overwhelming cloud of uncertainty, try to find some solid ground right where you are.
This could mean making plans for the day, or for the week. This could simply mean taking a walk, or sitting in silence for a bit. You don’t always have to have all the answers, you don’t always have to have a map of where you are going. Be kind to yourself and open up slowly to the possibilities. Take the next step with faith, that sooner than later, life will give you enough guidance to move confidently in the direction that you were meant to be. Don’t rush yourself, don’t panic, even if you don’t have all the answers, rest assured that it will all fall into place in the end.
